AA's First- and Business-Class Upgrades

American Airlines says it is expanding the culinary options and upgrading other aspects of service for first- and business-class cabins, beginning this month. All such customers will receive silverware and warm cloth towels. On international and transcontinental flights, they will get artisan breads, after-dinner Ghiradelli chocolates, pre-landing sparkling water and individual salt and pepper shakers. On trips to Europe, Asia and Latin America, first class will now have the choice of a marinated cheese antipasto snack over warm mixed nuts, an enhanced appetizer and a salad garnished with smoked duck.
