ASTA is encouraging agents to participate in its Secure Flight Webinar designed to help agents understand the program and how agencies can assist customers in the reservation process. The presenter is Paul Leyh, program director of the Secure Flight of the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The webinar takes place Wednesday, June 3, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET.
Secure Flight is a program created to enhance the security of domestic and international commercial air travel by establishing uniform watch list matching by TSA, ASTA notes.
“Under this program, airlines will require additional information from passengers when making a reservation," ASTA said. "As a liaison between airlines and your corporate passengers, you play a key role in the airline's reservation process."
