Effective Jan. 12, British Airways is beginning nonstop daily service between JFK (New York) and Manchester, U.K. To celebrate the launch, the airline will offer introductory discounted roundtrip fares of $1,998 for Club World and $458 for World Traveller Plus. The special fares are available for sale Jan. 11 through Jan. 18. There is no travel restriction for Club World; travel may be anytime. The Club World cabin features fully flat beds and Club World customers may enjoy pre-flight dining in British Airways' Terraces Lounge at JFK as well as pre-flight massages and spa treatments at the airline's Molton Brown spa in the JFK terminal. For World Traveller Plus, travel is valid from Jan. 12 through May. 29. The World Traveller Plus fare requires a minimum Saturday night stay; other restrictions may apply. Flight BA1502, departs JFK daily at 6 p.m. and arrives at Manchester the following morning at 5:55 a.m. Westbound, BA1503, departs Manchester daily at 10 a.m. and arrives at JFK at 12:45 p.m. the same afternoon.
