Continental Airlines is suspending its flights from the New York area and Houston to London/Gatwick Airport to satisfy customer preferences for London's Heathrow Airport. The airline will add a third daily flight from its Newark Liberty International Airport to Heathrow on October 25.
The launch of the Heathrow flight is subject to government and airport approval. Continental will continue to operate two daily flights from Houston to Heathrow in addition to the three daily flights from Newark to Heathrow.
