This spring, the carrier is expanding its Salt Lake City hub to include Salem, OR and Yakima, WA as daily nonstop destinations. "With the addition of these two markets, our Salt Lake city hub offers customers access to 111 destinations, more cities than any other airline from any hub in the West," claims Joe Esposito, managing director of network planning for the airline. Additionally, Delta's connection carrier, SkyWest Airlines, on June 8 resumes seasonal service from Salt Lake City to Steamboat Springs, CO and on May 25, Delta also will add summer service to Montrose/Telluride, CO.
