El Al, Israel's national airline, now offers passengers the option of online check-in for flights departing El Al gateway cities in North America. The enhanced online reservations system now offers seat selection, check-in, and the ability to print a boarding pass from home three to 24 hours prior to departure. Additionally, special meals (up to 18 options) may be pre-ordered through the system at least 24 hours prior to departure. The online check-in service is available for El Al nonstop flights from New York (JFK/Newark), Los Angeles, Miami, and Toronto as well as for direct flights from Chicago.
