Starting Oct. 29, Emirates Airlines will operate five flights weekly between Dubai and Tunis via Tripoli. Three times a week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, flight number EK 747 will depart Dubai at 9:00 a.m., and following a stopover in Tripoli, will arrive in Tunis at 3:20 p.m. The A330-200 aircraft will be equipped with 12 first, 42 business and 183 economy class seats. On its return journey, the flight will take off from Tunis-Carthage International Airport at 4:35 p.m. and touch down at Dubai International Airport at 1 a.m. the following day. On Mondays and Wednesdays, EK 749 offering 27 business and 251 economy class seats, will depart Dubai at 9 a.m., arriving in Tunis at 12:55 p.m. The return flight is slated to depart Tunis at 2:10 p.m. and arrive in Dubai at 1 a.m. the following day, after a stopover in Tripoli.
