EVA Airways has announced non-stop service between Taipei and New York, as well as between Taipei and Seattle. The flights become effective December 4, when EVA begins flying three flights a week between Taipei and New York and four flights a week between Taipei and Seattle. The service will utilize the carrier's new Boeing 777-300ER aircrafts. The new service will reduce flying time from Taipei to New York to 14 hours.
