Hawaiian Airlines is teaming with Outrigger Hotels & Resorts' Outrigger and Ohana hotel brands to provide flight check-in and luggage drop-off in Waikiki. The remote check-in service is available from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. daily at four of the company's hotels in Waikiki—the Outrigger Waikiki, the Outrigger Reef, the Ohana East and the Ohana Maile Sky Court. Fee for the baggage handling is $5 per bag and $15 per family (up to four passengers in one itinerary). Travelers who want to check in for flights and solely print boarding passes can do so for free. The baggage-handling fee covers delivery of bags to the airport and ensuring it is presented for agricultural and security inspections; travelers retrieve their bags when they get to their final destination. The service is available to travelers other than guests at the hotels.
