Regional Caribbean air carrier LIAT has announced the opening of two new routes between both Grenada and Barbados and the Grenadine island of Canouan. LIAT began operation of three flights a week from Grenada to Canouan on March 3. Its other new service between Barbados and Canouan will consist of three weekly flights.
In addition to the start-up of new air service by LIAT, the island's top-rated beachfront oasis of Tamarind Beach Hotel & Yacht Club is now offering free air transportation between Barbados and Canouan Island on Grenadine Airways when booking a 7-night stay in their Beachfront Suites. This means up to $890 in savings. There is a two-person maximum (additional guests pay $445 per person for the air transportation from Barbados to Canouan).
