New Carry-On Restrictions From EU

Check your contact lens solution at the door, please: The European Union has followed the U.S. by announcing rigorous new restrictions limiting the type of liquids eligible for carry-on luggage. The EU says that travelers can only take liquids in individual containers that contain less than 100 milliliters of liquid each. Travelers must pack these containers in one transparent, resealable bag that can be presented to screeners at security checkpoints. The restrictions apply to water, beverages, soups, syrups, creams, lotions, oils, perfumes and more.
