Onsite: Travel Mart Latin America: New Flights to Latin America, New Upscale Resort for Honduras

CARTAGENA-Avianca airlines, Colombia's main carrier, announced at the recent Travel Mart Latin America in Cartagena, Colombia, that it will increase its flights out of Miami from five days a week to seven. Starting November 1, the airline will offer one daily, non-stop flight per day to Cartagena. It will also be replacing its entire fleet, adding 41 Airbuses beginning February 2008. Also announced at Travel Mart was that the Infinity Bay Spa & Beach Resort in Roatan, Honduras will open its doors by Christmas, according to Michael Wendling, resort manager.
