Pleasant Holidays Upgrades Travel Protection Plans

Pleasant Holidays is easing travelers' worries during the current economic recession with its broadest travel protection plan to date, including “Cancel Anytime” coverage. The new trip protection plan includes coverage for airline, hotel, car rental and destination activities in the event the traveler changes or cancels a trip prior to departure. The plan must be purchased at time of booking and is offered for trips to Hawaii, Mexico, Caribbean and Costa Rica.

The protection plan reimburses trip cancellation at 100 percent with a limit of $5,000 per person as a result of employer termination, illness, injury, death or terrorism. It also reimburses up to 80 percent with a limit of $5,000 per person for virtually all other unforeseen cancellations. The cost of the plan is not refundable.

Pleasant Holidays offers a variety of Travel Protection Plans beginning at $89 for adults and $49 for children under 18 years of age. Cancel Anytime Protection Plan prices begin at $119 for adults and $79 for children under 18 years.
