Travelchacha has announced a new seven-day fam trip to Sri Lanka.
On the seven-day itinerary travel agents will be able to fly in to Colombo International Airport and visit all of the major attractions of Sri Lanka, including the rock temple Dambulla and a climb up the 5th century citadel of Sigiriya. There is also an optional elephant back safari.
On the trip agents will also visit Matale, Kandy, Ramboda, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Yala, Weligama, Galle and Bentota before returning to Colombo. Sightseeing highlights will include a visit to the ancient stone building of Nalanda Gedige, believed to be the center of the country, a spice garden visit in Matale, a tour of Kandy – the last capital of the Sinhala Kings – and a visit to a tea factory and the famous Ramboda Falls. Near Nuwara Eliya travel agents will also have the chance the check out the Seetha Amman Temple, considered a prime location in the Ramayana Trail, and in Ella agents will visit the Ravana Falls, ranked as one of the widest falls in the country. There will also be a jeep safari in Yala National Park, and city tours of Galle and Colombo.

The trip is priced at $679 per person only for departure dates in April through September and $699 for departure dates October through December. The rate includes seven days of accommodations in a Superior Room, breakfast and dinner, all sightseeing and transfers, professional English speaking guides and all taxes.
