ARC reports total air sales of $6,956,894,348 for February 2022, a solid 11.92 percent increase suggesting a sustained recovery and total year to date sales of $13,531,346,224, a 11.22 percent gain. Total transactions for the month were down, however, hitting 12,299,139, down 1.68 percent while YTD transactions were 24,687,532, at 0.20 percent. Total taxes and fees reported hit $1,033,834,938, a 12.55 percent increase and $2,012,450,170, YTD a 12.42 percent increase.,
Domestic fares reported totaled $3,009,427,265, or a 10.26 percent gain. YTD the total was $5,841,671,790, a 9.24 percent increase. Domestic transactions reported hit 8,700,579, a 3.44 drop and YTD 17,634,889,a 0.99decline. International fares grew to $2,830,790,724, a 13.58 percent gain while YTD hit $5,505,902,430, a 12.90 percent increase. International transactions reported were 3,598,560, a 2.86 percent gain and YTD reached 7,052,643, a 3.29 percent increase. Total fares hit $5,840,217,989, a 11.85 percent gain and YTD $11,347,574,219, a 10.99 percent gain.
ARC said carriers reporting totaled 193, while retail locations reporting were 14,655 for the month. STP (Satellite) locations reporting were 727 while VTC (Verified) locations hit 1,285. Average daily sales were $14,907.
Credit card sales reported were $6,207,005,010, a 11.54 percent gain and YTD at $12,128,756,509, a 10.94 percent increase. Credit card transactions were down to 10,643,101, a 2.88 percent drop compared to 21,483,895, a decline of 0.76 percent. Cash sales grew to $749,889,338, a 15.13 percent increase and YTD to $1,402,589,417, a 13.78 percent gain. Cash Transactions were pegged at 1,656,038, a 6.88percent gain and YTD to 3,203,637, a 7.09 percent increase.
