Dolce Hotels to Re-Brand and Re-Open Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas

Lakeway Resort and Spa, Austin, TexasAfter Village Hospitality LLC selected Dolce Hotels and Resorts to rebrand and manage the former Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas, the operator of upscale hotels, resorts and conference announced it will re-open the property in the Lake Las Vegas community outside of Las Vegas, which closed in May, in the first quarter of 2011. Dolce specializes in events planning, including meetings, weddings and other occasions with now 27 properties in North America and Europe, including the addition of the Lake Las Vegas property. Like other Dolce properties, it's right outside a major metropolis area in a large open area.

Currently, the property, adjoining MonteLago Village, has 349 rooms and suites and a 30,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, as well as Las Vegas' only over-water chapel, gardens and courtyards for private affairs. On 15 acres of the Lake Las Vegas development, characterized by its Mediterranean clay tile roofs and arched doorways, the property's meeting space includes 32,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space, including an 11,841-square-foot ballroom with 7,423 square feet of pre-function area, a smaller 4,700-square-foot junior ballroom and 10 function rooms that include two elegantly appointed boardrooms, able to accommodate gatherings for 10 to 1,000 attendees.
