Tauck's Culturious Tours Wins Innovation Prize

Venice at dawnThis fall, Tauck will be awarded with the CQIA Innovation Prize for its Culturious itineraries tailored to the baby-boomer demographic throughout the world. Based on criteria established by the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the award is presented annually by the Connecticut Quality Improvement Award Partnerships (CQIA).

Launched in 2009, the Culturious tours introduce travelers to the region, where you'll have to get an in-depth feel of say, Provence, Peru, the Galápagos or Scotland, through guided tours, getting to know the area yourself during your free time and optional activities including cycling and hiking. Good to know: the tours are limited to an average of 20 travelers.

This year, the ceremony will take place at the 23rd Annual Connecticut Quality Improvement Award Conference on Quality and Innovation at Water’s Edge Resort and Spa in Westbrook, Connecticut, October 29.
