The Collette Foundation Responds to Disaster in Japan

Boba, Ethiopia - Save the ChildrenFollowing the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan last Friday, March 11, The Collette Foundation has announced it will support Save the Children, matching all donations made by employees, partners and friends, up to $10,000. Following its mission to improve the quality of life for children, all donations made through the foundation made through the Collette Foundation will go directly to those in need.

Currently, Save the Children has response teams on the ground, assisting with relief, manning evacuation centers and focusing on the children affected in Japan, where it was operated for more than 25 years. Since the 2007 founding of The foundation by Dan Sullivan, CEO of tour operator Collette Vacations, The Collette Foundation has supported relief efforts Christchurch, New Zealand, working through the Salvation Army’s earthquake response program.
