Two Promotions: COO of MGM Resorts, CEO of MGM Hospitality

BeijingMGM Resorts International announced the promotion of two of its executive staff members, including Corey Sanders as COO of MGM Resorts International and Gamal Aziz to president and CEO of MGM Hospitality. Sanders was formerly COO of the hospitality company's Core Brand and Regional Properties, and Aziz was president and COO of MGM Grand Las Vegas.

During more than 16 years at the company, Sanders has served as CFO of both MGM Grand Las Vegas and MGM Grand Resorts and as executive vice president of operations. Prior to his promotion, in his role as COO of the Core Brand and Regional properties, he worked with Bill Hornbuckle, CMO, towards the company's growth.

Aziz joined the company in 1998 as senior vice president at Bellagio during its opening, until his promotion to president and COO of MGM Grand in 2001.  There, he led the property's development of 36 new venues since 2001 and 18 signed agreements to expand the luxury brands abroad. When MGM Hospitality launched in 2008, Aziz has served as head and continued in his role at MGM Grand. His work in hospitality has expanded the brands abroad by entering into 18 signed agreements, including announced properties in Beijing, Cairo and MGM Grand Sanya on Hainan Island in the South China Sea.
