Free Wi-Fi, free breakfast and guaranteed room upgrades rank among the top three complimentary hotel amenities that travel professionals value the most, according to agents who participated in CCRA’s January “Wednesday Rewards” Contest.
Agents were asked to vote on the most desirable free amenities that hotels offer travelers, given a choice of eleven amenity options. Based on the CCRA blog survey results, the top three free hotel amenities preferred by travel agents were as follows:
1. Free Wi-Fi: 38 percent of the total votes
2. Free Breakfast: 30 percent of the total votes
3. Guaranteed Room Upgrade: 8 percent of the total votes
Other hotel amenities selected include: free parking, guaranteed early check-in, airport transportation, upscale bath amenities, free in-room beverages, free welcome cocktail, free fruit or cheese plate, guaranteed late check-out.

All travel agents may participate in CCRA’s monthly “Wednesday Rewards” travel agent blog contest, for a chance to win various prizes that may include gift certificates & gift cards, credit card rewards, keepsake amenities, program points and more.
