Hyatt Regency Trinidad will once again host its very own all-inclusive fete, LIME, on Wednesday, February 15. It will be one of many events celebrated during Trinidad’s annual Carnival celebration.
Visitors from around the world will flock to the island for the Carnival festivities and LIME is one event not to be missed. Following the success of last year’s inaugural party, the fete will feature island-inspired food and cocktails, as well as entertainment by Kes the Band featuring Kees Diffenthaller, Karma featuring Nisha and Ravi B, Roy Cape All Stars and more.
Guests will be greeted with the ever-popular Lime Time and Forbidden Lime cocktails and offered delicacies such as slow-roasted meats grilled on seasoned coals and smoked woods, Atlantic, Pacific and Caribbean seafood, local authentic island fare, along with vegetarian specialties.
LIME, with its festive dress code of “white with a touch of lime”, will take place on the waterfront at Hyatt Regency Trinidad from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. Tickets are $200 per person for general admission and $300 per person for access to the VIP lounge. This year a portion of the proceeds was donated to the Christ-Child Convalescent Home and in 2012 some of the proceeds will again be donated to charity through United Way.
