In November, two expert naturalists will visit Amanyara, an Amanresort situated on Providenciales in the Turks & Caicos Islands, to instruct one-of-a-kind programs geared to divers, underwater enthusiasts and fans of turtles.

Kelvin Murray, a professional diver and naturalist, and Zander Srodes, a turtle conservationist, will conduct these programs from November 24-28, 2011.

Murray will oversee a range of underwater naturalist programs designed as workshops for non-divers, or as part of a dive expedition. He will also offer his expertise in underwater photography, digital, through a course for both snorkelers and divers. The course will include taking photos and posting them onto Google Earth as part of a global campaign to support marine-protected areas.

For those who prefer not to go under water, guests can view Murray’s photos during his eco talks on wildlife encounters and conservation.

Every morning during his visit, Srodes will present a special half-day turtle nature program for youngsters at Amanyara’s Nature Discovery Center. The program will feature presentations, activities, games, and crafts aimed at teaching children about turtles and their habitats, along with wildlife conservation.
