Major news from Rail Europe today: We met with the company's president and CEO Frederic Langlois, who told us that to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's II Diamond Jubilee (60 years on the throne), Rail Europe will offer a 60 percent commission to travel agents booking British rail e-tickets.
The British rail e-tickets are good for travel through England, Scotland and Wales, and can take visitors to cities like London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Bath and York.
The offer is valid through March 26, or for the first 1,500 e-tickets, and bookings can be made at agent.raileurope.com.
