New Theme Cruises in Alaska From Un-Cruise Adventures

AlaskaUn-Cruise Adventures adds two theme cruises to their docket of Active Adventure expeditions this summer; “Photography With Amy Gulick” and “Alaska Insider.”  

On June 8th, guests will begin a weeklong journey through the Eastern Coves of Alaska, sailing from Juneau to Ketchikan.  During the trip, award-winning guest photographer and writer Amy Gulick will share tips, lessons, and techniques. A founding Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers, her images have been featured in Outdoor Photographer, Audubon, National Wildlife and Nature’s Best Photography.  Guests will receive an autographed copy of her book “Salmon in the Trees:  Life in Alaska’s Tongass Rain Forest.” Rates start at $3,195 per person for double occupancy.

On July 13th, guests will spend a week sailing the Western Coves, from Ketchikan to Juneau, with longtime Alaska residents John and Jan Straley.  John is a poet and author of detective fiction who will entertain guests will Alaska folklore.  Jan is a well-established marine biologist and assistant Professor of Biology at the University of Alaska Southeast, who will teach guests about her specialty, humpback and killer whales.  Rates start at $3,198 per person for double occupancy.
