DisneyFor A Cause, a nonprofit that orchestrates multi-day charity walks in vacation destinations, teams up with Disney to host the first “A Walk Around The World” charity event this November at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

The event is limited to 50 participants and takes place November 14-18, 2013. Participants will commit to walking ten miles a day for the three days, following a suggested route throughout Walt Disney World. They are invited to enjoy the parks attractions at their leisure, and partake in group meals and activities like shows and fireworks. Robert Webber, president of For A Cause, alludes to a surprise event or two as well. Participants must be 14 years of age and may walk for the charity of their choice.

“In years past, For A Cause participants have traveled to castles in Europe and trekked miles throughout historical destinations, but this is the first time they'll be given a chance to visit Cinderella's castle and walk miles throughout a fantasy destination,” Webber says.

Registration fee is $350 per person and includes a portion of event expenses, as well as lodging at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, group meals, and group snacks. Single participants will be paired with roommates, although single rooms are available for an extra charge. There is a minimum fundraising requirement for participant’s chosen charity.
