The official tourism site for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau, www.sunny.org, re-launched today, offering enhanced content, including new Google map-it capabilities and build-your-own itinerary; a Vacation Planner E-guide; beach cams for visitors to see live beach shots; and upcoming event highlights. The site also provides several specific sections for different travelers and supplier types, including information on a collection of spa resorts, as well as information on smaller properties, casinos and cruises. There are sections for GLBT travelers, meeting planners and those who are bringing their pets on vacation.
To celebrate the launch, the bureau is offering a free vacation. Log on to www.sunny.org/win to register to win a 2009 Greater Fort Lauderdale beach vacation. The vacation package includes
