Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando Opens

Pool at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort

Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando opened its doors last week. The Caribbean-themed hotel will be connected to Loews Royal Pacific Resort, a first for the brand. The resorts have a combined 2,000 guestrooms and approximately 250,000 square feet of event space that will open this fall.

Loews Sapphire will have the largest swimming pool at Universal Orlando, complete with a water slide, sand beaches, and a fire pit. Guests also have the option of taking a water taxi on the hotel’s lagoon.

The resort has two restaurants, Amatista Cookhouse, which serves Caribbean-inspired food, or the rum-based bar Strong Water Tavern, which has 75 types of rum.

Included with the guests’ stay is Early Park Admission, which allows them to enjoy both Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure one hour before the parks open, as well as free resort-wide transportation.

Loews Sapphire Falls Resort is the 24th hotel owned or operated by Loews Hotels and the fifth on-site hotel at Universal Orlando.
