RockResorts is debuting its Miami property in April 2009. The hotel chain has several properties in Colorado, as well as properties in the West Indies, New Mexico and Wyoming. The company’s first venture into Florida was formerly known as Eleven Biscayne. The renamed Tempo Miami, A RockResort will rest one block from the city's new Performing Arts Center and overlook Biscayne Bay. A few of the 67-story property’s perks will include 56 guest rooms and suites, 8,000-square-foot spa, infinity-edge sunrise swim spa, lagoon-style sunset swimming pool and gourmet restaurant. The company also has three more properties in the works: Rum Cay Resort Marina in the Bahamas, opening in 2010; One Ski Hill Place in Colorado, opening in 2010; and Third Turtle Club in Turks & Caicos, opening in 2011.
