Aqua Hotels Posts New Sales & Marketing Appointments

Aqua Hotels & Resorts has announced some recent sales and marketing appointments for their Hawaiian properties.

John Dailey, Director of Sales – Domestic & International
Most recently, Dailey was Director of Sales & Marketing for Hilo Hattie’s, responsible for overseeing all market segments. He has over fifteen years of sales experience which includes management positions at Outrigger Hotels, Kona Surf and Pacific Beach Hotel. Born and raised in Okinawa, Dailey was educated at the University of Maryland Asia Pacific and is bi-lingual in English and Japanese. Christopher Ching, Marketing Coordinator – Offline Marketing
Ching assists and coordinates traditional offline marketing initiatives including public relations, print advertising, promotions, sponsorships and partnerships. An Iolani School graduate, Ching received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, with a concentration in Marketing (advertising & promotions strategy, product & brand management). Napua Leong, Online Marketing Manager
Leong was promoted from Online Marketing Coordinator to Online Marketing Manager. In this new position, Leong manages online marketing initiatives and content for the Aqua and stand alone property websites. Prior to joining Aqua, Napua was a multimedia consultant developing strategic and creative communications in various media for clients. Lacianne Terry, Contract Sales Manager
In this position, Terry is responsible for overseeing all wholesale and group contracting within Aqua as well as providing additional sales support for Aqua’s Home Office. She comes to Aqua from the Pacific Beach Hotel where she was Sales Manager for the Domestic and International markets. She also worked in the Contracting department for Hilton Hotels Corporation and in the Honolulu office for Fun Sun Vacations (Canadian wholesaler). Angela Byun, Director of Reservations
Byun has been promoted to Director of Reservations for Aqua’s central reservations department, where she will oversee the entire department as well as provide reservations training to front desk and reservation staff at all Aqua properties. Most recently, Byun was Reservations Manager. Prior to joining Aqua, she was Front Office Manager and Director of Housekeeping at Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay. She has also held management positions at the Four Seasons Hotel New York and Four Seasons Resort Hualalai. Byun received her B.S. in Travel Industry Management from the University of Hawaii.
