Lumeria Maui, the upcountry Maui yoga and wellness retreat, recognized internationally for its barefoot luxury, professional staff and programming, announces the June 1 opening of its boutique plantation style spa, Lumeria Crystal Spa, designed to offer therapies and treatments incorporating healing crystals and pure indigenous products.
The spa will enhance Lumeria’s overall experience and mission to help people achieve personal transformation through education and adventure.

Conceived by spa industry veteran Cecilia Hercik with Lumeria founder and owner Xorin Balbes, the spa experience integrates a kaleidoscope of ancient international therapies for the body, mind and spirit.
These therapies include acupuncture, Ayurveda, kinesiology, Shaman, mystic readings, psychic healing and medicine songs. The therapies are conducted by Hawaii’s top professionals who are passionate and experienced in their healing, therapeutic work. They will have a scheduled weekly talk to benefit guests and visitors in order to provide a deeper knowledge of these ancient healing practices.

The spa, currently nearing completion, consists of more than 5,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. The entrance to the spa is a large lushly landscaped coconut grove where guests can meditate, relax and enjoy organic cuisine, cold pressed juices or a glass of wine from the property’s restaurant Mūbu.
