Hokuala Kauai, a Timbers Resort Begins Renovations

Fairmont Orchid's 15,000 Honeybees Is Good News for Foodies

Honeybees are "checking in" to the Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii. The resort recently welcomed a few new additions to its ohana (family): two queen bees and roughly 15,000 honeybees. All are comfortably settling into two new Flow Hive "hotels," ideally located in close proximity to the delicious kiawe tree blossoms near the resort. Adding to Fairmont Orchid’s existing sustainability initiatives, the resort plans to introduce the honey into its food, beverage and spa offerings.
