Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau Announces "Booking Advantage" Program

May 19, 2009 By: Travel Agent Central Contributor

The Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau (HVCB) announced Tuesday that it has added a new "Booking Advantage" program for groups holding business meetings in the Hawaii islands. It is a member-inspired program that allows groups that have booked or planned meeting with a minimum of 10 peak hotel room nights to choose a free product or service from a participating HVCB member. The program is a part of HVCB’s Added Value Resource Center.

“More than 100 of our members are taking part in this program and offering an inviting selection of cultural and ‘made-in-Hawaii’ products, and other specialized services, to help make the business meeting experience even more special,” said Gina Salvador, HVCB’s membership director, in a statement.

The program is meant to help visitors enhance the value of their meeting and help HVCB members develop new marketing opportunities.
