Hawaiian Airlines Names New Director of Alliances, Airline Partnerships

Hawaiian Airlines recently announced the appointment of Michael Chock to the position of director of alliances and airline partnerships.

In his new position, Chock is responsible primarily for developing business relationships with codeshare and interline partners that will help enable Hawaiian to expand its reach to a broader base of customers in domestic and international markets.

“We are delighted to have Michael join our excellent team at Hawaiian Airlines," said Monisa Cline, Hawaiian’s vice president of sales and alliances, in a written release. "His expertise at creating alliances and partnership opportunities that generate new revenue streams will be a tremendous benefit to Hawaiian as we continue to execute our growth plan. This year, we’re launching three new international routes and adding five more A330s, our largest aircraft, to the fleet.”

Chock brings to Hawaiian 22 years of domestic and international management experience with significant focus in Asia at Northwest Airlines and then Delta Air Lines following their merger. He has held senior airline positions focusing on alliance operations since 1996. Most recently, he served for three years as director of alliances and partnership development for SkyTeam in Amsterdam.
