Hawaiian Kicks Off Web Sales for New Sendai Service

Hawaiian Airlines has begun selling tickets online for its new service to Sendai, Japan commencing on June 25.

In the U.S., tickets can now be purchased online at www.HawaiianAirlines.com, or by phone toll- free through Hawaiian’s reservations center at 1-800-367-5320. In Japan, tickets can be purchased online via Hawaiian’s Japanese-language website at www.HawaiianAirlines.co.jp, or by phone through its sales office in Japan at 03-5405-8761.

Hawaiian’s Flight 441 will depart Honolulu International Airport on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 12:55 p.m., cross the international dateline, and arrive at Sendai International Airport at 4:30 p.m. the following days. The flight will then continue to Sapporo’s New Chitose Airport at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, arriving at New Chitose at 7:00 p.m. before departing to Honolulu as Flight 442 at 9:10 p.m., crossing the international dateline and arriving in Honolulu at 9:50 a.m. the same day.

Hawaiian will operate its new Sendai service with wide-body, twin-aisle Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, which comfortably seat up to 264 passengers.

Sendai will be Hawaiian’s fifth gateway in Japan and the tenth new destination it has introduced or announced in less than three years, following the launches of service to Tokyo in November 2010, Seoul in January 2011, Osaka in July 2011, Fukuoka in April 2012, New York in June 2012, Sapporo in October 2012, Brisbane in November 2012 and Auckland in March 2013. The company previously announced new nonstop service between Honolulu and Taipei commencing on July 9, 2013 and between Honolulu and Beijing commencing on April 16, 2014.
