Annual Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival

Although Hawaii's peak season came and went with the summer, agents still have a host of selling points for clients looking to head to the Aloha State this fall and winter.

The Molokai Heritage Rodeo, held the first weekend of November, celebrates five generations of Molokai paniolo (cowboys) and the preservation of nature and artisan skills. The 22nd annual Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival “Kauai Style” will take place on November 9 from 12 to 6 p.m. at the Aqua Kauai Beach Resort & Spa in Lihue. The event showcases up to 15 of Hawaii’s finest artists known in the slack key guitar genre performing various styles along with vocals. From November 12-December 20, the prestigious Vans Triple Crown of Surfing commences on Oahu’s North Shore with three high-performance and power surfing competitions for men and women.
