Mokulele Airlines to Launch Oahu Service This Summer

mokulele airlinesMokulele Airlines has announced plans to launch Hawaii inter-island service at Kalaeloa Airport on west Oahu this summer. 

Mokulele is working in cooperation with the state of Hawaii Department of Transportation Airports Division to target a start date of July 1, at which time Mokulele would begin offering three daily roundtrip flights between Kalaeloa (JRF) and Kahului, Maui (OGG).

Mokulele's new service from Kalaeloa will make air travel to and from Maui more convenient for residents of West Oahu as well as for those visiting the resorts and attractions in the island's southwest region, the airline says. When the new service begins, Kalaeloa will become the ninth airport Mokulele serves. As with most of the other airports Mokulele serves, parking is available and passengers will not be required to go through TSA screenings. 

Special introductory airfares for Kalaeloa will start at $69 one way including taxes and fees.
