New Appointments at Hawaiian Airlines

Hawaiian Airlines announced two major appointments today. Peter Ingram (right), currently Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will assume a new role at the airline as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, effective November 1. Scott Topping will take over as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Hawaiian Holdings, Inc. and its subsidiary Hawaiian Airlines, Inc.

Topping joins Hawaiian following 16 years at Southwest Airlines, where he directed that company’s corporate finance, treasury, fleet planning, and risk management strategies. Among other achievements there, he earned international recognition for developing and managing Southwest’s successful fuel hedging program. Prior to Southwest, Topping led consulting relationships with 16 bank clients over six years with FinSer Corporation in San Antonio, Texas, leaving as senior vice president in 1995.

Topping holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin concentrating in Finance and Accounting, and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Kansas State University with an emphasis in Economics.

In his new role, Ingram, who joined Hawaiian as CFO in 2005, will oversee Hawaiian’s marketing and sales division with direct responsibility for the company’s marketing, partnerships, cargo sales and new revenue sources. Glenn Taniguchi, Senior Vice President, will continue to lead the company’s route planning, pricing, airline alliances and sales strategies, reporting to Ingram.
