Sandy Morrow Kresge, a long-time Outrigger Hotels & Resorts sales executive, passed away this morning in her home state of Oregon with family at her side, according to an Outrigger Hotels & Resorts news release.
A much-beloved employee, Morrow Kresge joined the company in 1989 as a regional director of sales and spent the next 23 years focused on serving the company’s agent and wholesale clients. In her current position of director of business development, Morrow Kresge’s territory included Alaska, Colorado, Oregon, Utah and Washington.
“Sandy was an established force in the travel industry, whose reputation as a dedicated industry professional was unparalleled,” said David Carey, president and CEO of Outrigger Enterprises Group, in a written release. “Whether as a colleague, competitor, or fellow Outrigger employee, Sandy was known for her exemplary client service and exceptional excellence in all that she did.
“We will miss Sandy very much,” continued Carey. “Her legacy as an accomplished sales professional, straightforward and caring co-worker will be long-remembered throughout the Outrigger 'ohana and amongst her many industry friends and colleagues.”
Morrow Kresge is survived by her husband, Dale; son Kenny; daughter Kristin; and granddaughter Alexandra. Son, Danny, passed away last year.
