Report: Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts Is Officially Expanding to Oahu, Hawaii

The JW Marriott Ihilani Ko Olina Resort will soon become the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina

It's been rumored for about a month that Oahu was set to get its first Four Seasons Resort at the site of the existing JW Marriott Ihilani Ko Olina Resort.

On Thursday, the LA Times finally confirmed what most tourism representatives in Oahu have been expecting. The JW Marriott Ihilani Ko Olina Resort, about half-a-mile from Disney’s Aulani resort on Oahu, will be rebranded as a Four Seasons.

According to the report, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts plans to offer privately owned residences alongside hotel rooms at its new acquisition. No date has been announced for the name change, but the Marriott Ihilani website shows that it is accepting reservations for stays only through January 10. Four Seasons promises a redesign of the property, which will be called the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina, according to a news release.
