Starwood Hotels & Resorts has named Caryl Lee account director for Hawaii leisure sales at Starwood’s 11 resort properties on four islands.
The position includes responsibility for leisure transient and leisure group business, as well as fostering professional relationships with travel agencies, independent travel counselors and travel wholesalers. She will be based in Huntington Beach, CA.
A seasoned sales professional with more than 20 years of experience in Hawaii leisure travel, Lee has rejoined the Starwood Sales Organization. From 2004 to 2011 she was regional sales manager for Starwood in Hawaii, serving key accounts and implementing wholesale partner trainings. She also worked for The St. Regis Princeville Resort from 2013 to 2015 as account director of leisure sales for the western United States.
Lee began her travel career with Hawaii World, where she served the luxury Hawaii market for a decade (1993 to 2003). She then moved to Starwood Hawaii, followed by sales management positions at Classic Vacations, The St. Regis Princeville Resort, and most recently Turtle Bay Resort.
