Three End-of-Year Incentives in Hawaii

2014 may be almost over, and for agents trying to book a few last sales before the holidays, Hawaii tour operators are offering a slate of incentives to help them close the deal.

$27,000 in Agent and Group Incentives From Pleasant Holidays

Pleasant Holidays has a group travel incentive where travel agents can earn up to $2,000 in bonus commission and up to $25,000 in credit applied to the group stay in Hawaii. Applicable only for Hawaii travel at participating hotels and resorts, the incentives are valid for new group bookings made by December 31 to Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii Island.

For groups traveling in January, agents earn up to $2,000 in bonus commission at participating Hawaii hotels and resorts. The amount of the bonus commission earned is based on the total number of room nights utilized by the group. Agents earn $400 for 50 to 99 nights, $900 for 100 to 199 room nights and $2,000 for 200 room nights or more.

For Hawaii group travel in December 2014 and February through December 2015, agents earn $200 bonus commission for 50 to 99 nights, $450 for 100 to 199 room nights and $1,000 for 200 room nights or more. These bonus commission amounts are in addition to the standard commission the agent receives for group bookings with Pleasant Holidays.

Pleasant Holidays has partnered with the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau to offer the additional group credit offer. Groups booked by December 31 earn credit toward their meetings or incentives based on the total number of hotel room nights utilized. Groups receive $2,500 for 200 to 499 room nights, $7,000 for 500 to 999 room nights, $15,000 for 1,000 to 1,499 room nights and $25,000 for 1,500 room nights or more. The Group incentive amounts are valid for travel now through December 2015. Certain restrictions apply, including travel date limitations and blackout dates.
