Halekulani Hotel's Lewers Lounge, consistently ranked as one of Hawaii’s best venues for live jazz and cocktails, is set to host Live at Lewers, the hotel’s jazz concert series in partnership with Hawaii Pops and Artistic Director Matt Catingub, from April 18-19.

Featuring intimate, live musical performances with locally and internationally recognized talent, the upcoming Live at Lewers concert presents Tierney Sutton.

For the past 20 years, Sutton has fronted the Tierney Sutton Band, featuring pianist Christian Jacob, bassists Trey Henry and Kevin Axt and drummer Ray Brinker. Touring throughout the world, the Tierney Sutton Band has headlined at Carnegie Hall, The Hollywood Bowl and Jazz at Lincoln Center, and its CDs have consistently topped the U.S. jazz radio charts.

A three-time Grammy nominee for “Best Jazz Vocal Album,” Sutton was Jazzweek’s Vocalist of the Year, received the L.A. Jazz Society’s Vocalist Award, and has been at the top of critics and listener’s polls. Tierney can also be heard on film and television soundtracks including the Academy Award-nominated film "The Cooler."

The series runs from 8-10 p.m. on Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19. Tickets can be purchased for individual performances, or the entire series, by calling Dining Reservations at 808-923-2311. Tickets are $85 for premium seating and $50 for regular seating.
