Upcoming Festivals in Hawaii

If your clients want to experience more of Hawaiian culture, these upcoming festivals are a great way to learn more about the islands and interact with locals.

June 10-12

32nd Annual Pan-Pacific Festival: An annual international cultural celebration featuring an eclectic assortment of cultural arts, crafts and stage performers from Hawaii and around the world to cultivate intercultural friendships, goodwill and understanding. Visitors and residents participate in events that include a ho‘olaule‘a (block party), stage events, an arts and crafts fair, a hula festival, and a parade through Waikiki.

June 15-19
12th Annual Maui Film Festival: This premier international film event is dedicated to the advancement of understanding and cultural exchange among the people of Asia, the Pacific and North America using the medium of film.

July 23-31
26th Annual Kōloa Plantation Days: On Kauai’s south shore, visitors and residents gather to celebrate the social and natural history and diverse cultural traditions of Kōloa, the area where Hawaii’s first sugar plantation was founded in 1835. More than 25 family-friendly events, including cultural performances, film nights, craft fairs, the Plantation Days rodeo, evening Ho‘olaule‘a (celebration), and a historic parade and park celebration will be available for visitors to enjoy.

October 13-23
32nd Annual Hawaii International Film Festival: Features film screenings of productions from the Asia-Pacific region including Hawaii-produced films, discussions with the film-makers, award presentations, and special events. Visitors and residents enjoy screening films not available through any other venue in Hawaii.

November 4-13
41st Annual Kona Coffee Cultural Festival: This festival preserves, perpetuates and promotes Kona's unique 183-year coffee heritage. Festival signature events include a Coffee & Art Stroll, Cupping Competition, Farm & Mill Tours, and the International Lantern Parade.
