Hard Rock’s Paradise TowerAugust 31, 2009 By: Ruthanne Terrero Travel Agent
The 18-floor, 407-room Paradise Tower is the latest addition to Hard Rock Las Vegas
When We visited Hard Rock Las Vegas at the end of July, we weren’t prepared to find everyone there so busy. Seems they were gearing up for the opening of their brand-new 407-room Paradise Tower.
Despite the pressing deadline, Hard Rock officials (David Sukala, director of group sales, in particular) most graciously gave us a tour of the new 18-floor tower, which has a Penthouse and 10 pool suites.
The Penthouse maxes out at 3,500 square feet with floor-to-ceiling windows throughout for panoramic views of the Strip and expansive views of surrounding mountains. Get past the amazing views and the Penthouse interior is all “wow.” The pool suites overlook, and offer direct access to, the Beach Club pool. The suites are duplexes with doors that open either to a cabana and the pool deck or a spacious glass balcony that hovers over the pool.
The Jacuzzi is to die for; it’s covered in black tile and has stunning views through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
There’s more than just the penthouse, however. The duplex suites are unique, themed after rock stars (there are some with a more traditional decor, too). Standard rooms, with a contemporary design, are comfortable and bow to the hotel’s rock ‘n roll theme with the artwork on the walls.
Hard Rock isn’t done yet. The South Tower opens in December; all accommodations will be suites, starting at 800 square feet. There will also be a 12,000-square-foot nightclub and a 40,000-quare-foot spa with a unisex Turkish bath. How decadent! The top penthouse villas will have pools that open to the sky (meaning no one’s balcony will be above your head).
