Las Vegas Hosts Largest Electronic Dance Festival in North America

The 16th Annual Electric Daisy Carnival, North America's largest electronic dance music festival, will return to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from June 8-10, 2012. Insomniac Events has extended the festivities surrounding this festival, with non-stop events planned from June 5-12, 2012. Pool parties and nightlife events will take place in addition to the Bassrush Massive show at the Orleans Arena and the EDMbiz Conference at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

“I’m excited to bring a taste of the EDC experience to the Las Vegas strip for an entire seven days,” said Pasquale Rotella, founder and CEO of Insomniac Events. “This schedule of shows, as well as the EDMbiz Conference, is well worth enjoying an extra few days in Vegas before and after the festival.”

Insomniac produces events using state-of-the-art lighting and sound design, large-scale art installations, interactive circus and theatrical performances, boundary-pushing special effects and pyrotechnics and fan participation. They have produced more than 250 music events for more than 2.5 million concertgoers in California, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico.

The series of events will kick-off with Dash Berlin at The Palazzo's LAVO Nightclub.
