Las Vegas Tourism Hit Record in 2007

A total of 39.2 million people visited Las Vegas in 2007, marking the fourth consecutive year that the city has set a visitation record, according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. Last year's count represents only a 0.7 percent increase over 2006, which, at the time, set the record figure of 38.9 million visitors. Las Vegas' 90.4 percent occupancy level last year was the highest in the city since 1996 (when it also reached 90.4 percent).
