Las Vegas Welcomes Mandarin Oriental

The Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas is scheduled to open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony December 4 at the entrance of CityCenter on the Las Vegas Strip. According to the hotel's general manager, Rajesh Jhingon, the Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas will begin taking reservations on the GDS August 17.

The 47-story, non-gaming hotel will offer 392 rooms and suites and 227 residences. There will be three presidential suites on the hotel's top floors, each measuring over 3,200 square feet. A "Sky Lobby" will be located on the 23rd floor, which will offer views of the Las Vegas skyline.

Guests have the choice of a variety of dining options. The signature restaurant, MOzen Bistro will feature Asian dishes and multi-national fare. The Mandarin Bar, on the 23rd floor, offers a boutique atmosphere with views of the city. There will also be a Tea Lounge and a to-go cafe, Amore Patisserie.

A two-level, 27,000-square-foot Spa will be a major feature of the hotel, complete with 17 treatment rooms, a fitness center and yoga studio.

The hotel also provides guests with 12,000 square feet of function space, which can accommodate up to 600 guests.
