Mandalay Bay Redesigns 3000 Rooms

Mandalay Bay Resort

Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino has announced the final phase of its resort-wide revamp. The resort will redesign more than 3,000 guestrooms and suites.

In keeping with the Vegas theme, all the new looks, created by the MGM Resorts International Design Group, will use bright, lively colors and memorable statement pieces. The rooms will feel cheery with the use of plush fabrics and the use of texture.

“Mandalay Bay has undergone a remarkable evolution over the last few years,” said Chuck Bowling, president and COO of Mandalay Bay. “These new rooms and suites will round out a dynamic resort experience complete with world-class dining, high-energy entertainment and nightlife and premier meeting and convention space.”

Guests will have the option to choose several accommodation styles. The Resort King rooms will use a cobalt and white color theme, while the Resort Queen rooms will use lavender and mocha tones. Both of these rooms are part of the Resort Collection. The Suite Collection includes one- and two-bedroom suites complete with jewel tone fabrics. These suites will have a dining area, media and living rooms. Guests wanting more rooms can opt for the Luxury Collection, which includes one- to four-bedroom suites and upgraded amenities like floor-to-ceiling windows, dining and bar areas.

The $100 million redesign is set for completion in the spring of 2016.
