MGM Grand is offering another way to self-checkout besides through a TV or speaking to a front desk agent, with a self-service kiosk.
According to Vegas Chatter, guests will need to go down to the lobby to use the service, but the downside is that there is only one, four-sided display. It is fairly straightforward to use, providing guests with a slot to drop their keys off. A friendly agent will also be on hand to assist guests when necessary.
It is not clear if more are in the works, but if guests are looking for an alternative way to go and check-out, then this could be it. The hope it that more machines will be installed in the lobby, and also in the elevator cores of every guestroom floor.
