The Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas is on schedule to unveil the first phase of its expansion in August.
The property will have a larger carpeted ballroom, 350,000 square feet added to the exhibit area and a new 900- space underground parking garage.
After the expansion, Mandalay Bay will be able to accommodate large groups and trade shows. It will have more than 900,000 square feet of exhibit space.
The $66 million project, which began in October 2014, is anticipated to be fully completed by January 2016.
